I will not pay attention to pandemic situation in other provinces intentionally unless some news emerge in my phone when I browse it. Today I come to know that the situation in Guangzhou is very serious with several hundreds of cases confirmed one day. Hopefully it can be under control as soon as possible and the city will return to normality.
I stayed in Guangzhou from end of March to early June last year. Guangzhou is a mega city like Shanghai but I did not have much time to do city walk. Of course, I went to visit some of the most famous places such as Guangzhou Tower, Baiyunshan Park, and Changlong Holiday Resort, etc. Beijing road in Guangzhou is very crowded like East Nanjing road in Shanghai or Wangfujing in Beijing. There are also many historical buildings within that city which were built during colonization period.
In fact what satisfies me the most was that there were many dessert shops in the street where I could take a seat and enjoy the delicious dessert quietly. Indeed, I love dessert so much.
How I wish in Shanghai there are as many kinds of delicious food as in Guangzhou.

Burgundy well known for wine . Pair the cheese with your favorite wine and you would know why French are known as foodies.
Soups and Stews
Soups are quite popular in France with l’Oignon Gratinee or onion soup taking away the prize. Coq Au Vin is perhaps the most popular French dish made with chicken and wine. The recipe varies with the region but the taste remains the same – tempting.
Ratatouille. It originated in French Riviera and is a type of stew with a lot of vegetables of which tomato is the main ingredient. Vegetables like zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, garlic, onion and other herbs add their own flavor to make this stew very tasty.
Salads
French love their salads . Nicoise salad is from Provence region, which can be enjoyed as a side dish or as a meal. With lettuce, canned tuna, boiled eggs, and fresh tomatoes, it is filling and good for your taste buds .
Desserts
Clafoutis, Éclair, Macarons, and Crème Brulee are a few dessert items that deserve special mention.
Tarte Tatin is one such dish that is made of apple and pastry base. It is a delicious dessert that you must try.
