This afternoon, I took my little daughter to have a walk.

I had never been out since Spring Festival Eve，so I was really looking forward to meeting some neighbors and talking to them.

But when we walked around the neighborhood, we only met several persons who we were not acquainted with. The lanes and paths were almost empty. I had no one to talk to，so I could only talk with my little daughter.

My little girl said she wanted to visit the supermarket, so we left our neighborhood for the nearby supermarket.

There were two supermarkets in a nearby plaza. When arriving the plaza，we saw all the shops were closed, except a drugstore, even one of the supermarkets was tightly closed. So we went to the other supermarket.

The other supermarket was wide open, but it looked cheerless. No noise, no music. We could see only several customers picking out vegetables or fruit. Only a cashier desk was in service. All the others were out of service. When we paid for our grocery, we didn't need to queue, for beside the cashier there were only my little daughter and me.

What a desolate Spring Festival!
